Key
Responsibilities:
Perform complex manual testing of software products for bug fix verification, validation of new-feature implementation, as well as for regression or other ad hoc testing.
Develop test plans and test cases based on software requirements from design and technical specifications.
Submit bug reports that clearly identify issues discovered during testing as well as enhancement requests to improve the product.
Create browser automation tests and automated API tests to execute product workflows, and interpret test run results to assist in the identification of software bugs.
Write database queries to check values for correctness and better understand problems that are encountered.
Develop technical documentation used to facilitate current testing, support, development, upgrade, or migration requirements.
Research and implement new and improved testing methods, processes, tools, and test systems.
Set priorities, remain organized, and allocate proper amounts of time to assigned activities so that individual and product deadlines can be met.
Key Requirements:
3-5 years of experience performing both manual and automated testing of software products using many different devices and platforms.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline or equivalent work and course experience in lieu of degree.
Knowledge of object-oriented programming (ideally Ruby) and browser automation (Watir, Selenium).
Ability to write database queries using a relational database like Oracle or MariaDB.
Experience with API testing tools such as ReadyAPI and Postman.
Understanding of HTML and, more broadly, XML.
Experience using Linux (Ubuntu, RHEL) as your native operating system to include use of the command line.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
